Read on below to learn a little bit more about our fantastic team.
Cheryl, Practice Administrator
Cheryl's experience in the world of dentistry spans 27 years so far, and she's been a member of our team for the past six. She received her education from Indian River, earned her certification in X-rays from the University of Maryland and has attended numerous continuing education courses through the AACD. She loves the team she works with!
Cheryl hails from Baltimore and has a daughter and a son. Her hobbies outside of the office include working out, paddle boarding, traveling, photography, and volunteering with Operation 300. She also has a dog (a Great Dane) that is taller and weighs more than her too.
Marlen, Front Desk Coordinator
Although Marlen is one of the newest members of our team, she has an impressive 20+ years of experience in the world of dentistry under her belt! She studied at Broward College and Keiser College, and she has undergone additional training in Invisalign and expanded orthodontic duties. Even after two full decades, her favorite part of her job is that it allows her to be a part of a team that genuinely loves making people smile.
Marlen is originally from Sunrise, FL! When she isn’t helping people at our practice, she loves spending time with her husband, son, two stepdaughters, and her English bulldog. She is obsessed with Snow White (and all things Disney) and enjoys traveling and crafting.
Ashley, Dental Hygienist
Ashley lives in Port Saint Lucie, FL. She earned her Associate of Arts from the University of Central Florida and PBSC before pursuing her Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene from PBSC. She is certified to administer local anesthetic by the Florida Department of Health Board of Dentistry. She loves teeth and loves what she does!
Ashley was married in 2008 to her husband Anthony and has two children named Addison and Austin, as well as a Wheaton Terrier puppy named Derby. When she isn't at work, you can find her running, reading, and going to Disney with her kids. She is also artistically inclined at random times.
Kristi, Dental Hygienist
Kristi joined our practice in 2019, bringing nearly two full decades of experience in the dental field with her! She is originally from Mentor, OH, and she completed her studies at both Lakeland Community College and Bowling Green State University. Since then, she has undergone advanced training in everything from local anesthesia to nitrous oxide. However, her favorite part of her job is the opportunity to educate patients about caring for their teeth and giving them a healthy mouth.
Kristi has been married for 14 years, and together they have two children, two cats, and one dog. In her free time, she loves traveling to new places with her family, going to museums and concerts, and volunteering at Morse Life Nursing Home.
Amy, Dental Assistant
Amy is from Miami, and she's been working in dentistry for 25 years and counting. She first joined our team around five years ago, and she finds it extremely fulfilling to be in a position to help improve patients' wellbeing while at the same time delivering the aesthetics that Dr. Crary and Dr. Bacha passionately create every day. She has her Expanded Functions and radiology certifications.
Amy has been married for over 20 years and is the proud step-parent to two wonderful young men. Outside of work, she is a lifelong weightlifter/exercise enthusiast who tries to practice what they preach. In the past, she's been the overall gold medal champion at the All National Junior Olympics in Gymnastics and the Southern States Body Building Champion in the Light Weight Category.
Lauren, Dental Assistant
Lauren’s hometown is Palm City! She attended Dental Assisting Academy of the Palm Beaches and joined our team a few years later. Today, she loves that her job allows her to genuinely help people fix their smiles while getting to hone her craft.
Elizabeth, Dental Assistant
Elizabeth completed her education at Indian River State College, and she has been working in the dental field ever since. Today, she brings over 14 years of experience, her additional training, and her genuine passion for changing patients’ smiles for the better to our team. So, while she joined our practice relatively recently, she’s already the perfect fit!
Elizabeth comes from a large family, and her hometown is Fort Pierce, FL. She truly enjoys teaching and training new dental assistants, and in her free time, you’ll likely find her crafting!
