Beautifully Straight Smiles

Orthodontic treatment

We take a functional approach to orthodontic care, treating both children and adults with a focus on long-term health and aesthetics. Our treatments guide the natural development of the upper and lower jaws, helping them reach their full potential. This often creates the necessary space for all permanent teeth, without the need for extractions. When a receding lower jaw or TMJ issues are present, we may use functional jaw repositioning appliances to gently move the lower jaw forward. The result is more than just a beautiful smile- it’s a balanced, harmonious facial profile.

Benefits ofOrthodontics

Lifelong Oral Health

Orthodontic treatment does more than improve your smile—it supports long-term oral health. Properly aligned teeth are easier to keep clean, less likely to chip or develop cavities, and help reduce the risk of gingivitis and gum disease.

Enhanced Smile Confidence

A straight, balanced smile can make a lasting impression. Orthodontics boosts self-confidence by improving the appearance of your teeth, which can positively impact both personal and professional interactions.

Improved Bite Function

Correcting bite issues such as overbites, underbites, or crossbites helps teeth come together properly. This improves chewing efficiency, reduces uneven tooth wear, and can alleviate strain on the jaw joints.

Prevention of Future Dental Problems

Early orthodontic intervention can help prevent more serious dental issues down the road. By guiding teeth and jaw development, treatment can minimize the need for extractions, complex restorations, or corrective surgery later in life.

OrthodonticTreatment Options

Traditional Braces (Metal or Clear)

Conventional orthodontic treatment involving traditional braces (metal or clear) for both children and adults offers the most comprehensive approach to treating complex issues ranging from crooked teeth to jaw and bite concerns.

Clear Aligners

Treatment with clear aligners creates beautifully straight teeth without braces by using a series of removable, and comfortable aligners – invisible to your friends, family, and coworkers. Because the aligners are removable, you can eat and drink what you want while in treatment. Plus, brushing and flossing are much easier. We have available a number of different clear aligner options, including both Invisalign® and Angel Aligners™.

Angel Aligners

Angel Aligners™ are clinically proven clinically proven to treat minor to complex malocclusions. A series of clear, custom trays that slot over your teeth like thin sports guards, they are anti-reflective and “frosted” in appearance, so most people won’t even notice you are having orthodontic treatment.

Invisalign®

Invisalign® creates beautifully straight teeth without braces by using a series of removable, and comfortable aligners – invisible to your friends, family, and coworkers. Because the aligners are removable, you can eat and drink what you want while in treatment. Plus, brushing and flossing are much easier. Invisalign® provides a more flexible straight-teeth solution.

Adult Orthodontics

Today, one in four orthodontic patients is an adult. With healthy gums and bone structure, teeth can be straightened at any age. Clear aligners, transparent braces, and faster treatment have made smile transformation more appealing. And the oral health benefits are extensive – leaving misaligned teeth untreated may lead to other dental problems such as tooth decay, gum disease and difficulty chewing. Orthodontic treatment creates a better bite, making teeth fit better and decreasing the risk of future dental problems regardless of age.

Retainers

A retainer is a custom-made appliance that holds teeth in place after they have been moved with braces or Invisalign. There are two basic types of retainers: removable and permanent.  We want all of our patients to enjoy their beautiful smile for life, that’s why we offer several retainer options to our patients.

Clear plastic retainers

Removable retainers molded to perfectly fit the new position of your teeth.

Fixed Retainers

A fixed retainer is a wire that is bonded to the backside of your front teeth.

Adult Orthodontics

Did you know that one in four orthodontic patients is an adult?
Thanks to modern advances like clear aligners, discreet braces, and shorter treatment times, straightening teeth has never been more appealing—at any age.

As long as your gums and bone structure are healthy, it’s never too late to improve your smile. Beyond aesthetics, orthodontic treatment offers significant oral health benefits. Misaligned teeth can increase the risk of tooth decay, gum disease, and even problems with chewing. A properly aligned bite helps teeth function more effectively and reduces the likelihood of future dental issues —regardless of age.

Orthodontics also plays a key role in long-term stability for patients who have undergone TMJ/TMD treatment. Once we’ve stabilized your bite and relieved your symptoms, it’s essential to maintain that healthy new bite position for life. For patients with healthy teeth who don’t require extensive restorations, orthodontics is often the ideal “Phase 2” solution—helping preserve comfort, function, and alignment for years to come.

Child Orthodontics

Early Interceptive Treatment

Early interceptive orthodontic treatment gives your child the best chance at a lifetime of healthy function and confidence—by guiding jaw development, correcting bite issues early, and setting the stage for a stable, beautiful smile and face.

Phase One

The main goal of Phase-One treatment is to help the jaw develop in a
way that will accommodate all the permanent teeth and improve the way the upper and lower jaws fit together.

Early treatment can:

  • Guide proper jaw growth
  • Create space for permanent teeth
  • Correct harmful habits like thumb-sucking and tongue-thrusting
  • Improve bite alignment (overbite, underbite, crossbite)
  • Reduce the risk of injury to protruding teeth
  • Enhance facial balance and appearance
  • Boost your child’s confidence

The goal of Phase 2 orthodontic treatment is to ensure that every tooth is precisely positioned for optimal function, alignment, and aesthetics. This means each tooth is in harmony with the lips, cheeks, tongue, and surrounding teeth—creating a balanced bite and a smile that works as beautifully as it looks. Phase 2 typically involves full upper and lower braces to guide the final alignment of the teeth and establish long-term stability.

What age should
my child see anOrthodontist?

The American Association of Orthodontists recommends a check-up with an orthodontic specialist no later than age 7. Interceptive orthodontic treatment around this time can help direct proper tooth positioning and/or jaw growth, eliminating or simplifying the need for later treatment. Early orthodontic evaluation will give your child their best opportunity for a healthy, beautiful smile.
